Highlights

In addition to the excellent and thought provoking papers that will be delivered throughout the conference, we hope you will also enjoy the following highlights from the programme:

Performance by Fervor Troupe: We are delighted to announce that the conference will be opened with a performance by Fervor Troupe, an innovative dance group that combine stunning costumes and modern choreography with aspects of traditional Taiwanese culture and aesthetics. Conference Welcome Reception: Thursday 31 March, 18:30,  Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. The conference reception will be hosted by the Commissioner of Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government, at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. Join us on the first evening of the conference for drinks, networking and a tour of this historic venue.

Museum Reception: On Friday 1st April, 18:30, join us for a drinks reception hosted by National Taiwan Museum with the opportunity to explore this magnificent museum after hours.

Study Visits:  On Sunday 3rd April we’ll be exploring two fascinating heritage sites: Qing Dynasty Ruled Housing: Dadaocheng Town-House, and Longshan Temple. Read more about them here.
